“Fantastic Fantasies,” our third A Day to Play event, is set for Saturday, June 11, from 1 - 3 p.m. at Eastbrook Elementary School in Winter Park (map). We would love to spend a fantastic day with you! 

Some of the day’s highlights include:

• An immersive living story book room that will make every child a hero of a real-life quest designed by FFSC. Each hero will engage with live actors and trek through a balloon forest that is sure to stimulate all five senses.

• Face painting and a photo station will guarantee giggles and Instagram-worthy memories for every kid or kid-at-heart.

• A super-sibling station will encourage able-bodied siblings to find their superpowers and create lasting memories with their medically special brothers or sisters.

• A magic show with magician Pasquale Palazzolo will engage and amaze kids and adults alike.

This is a free event open to all medically special kids and kids-at-heart, along with their super siblings, parents, and caregivers. Space is limited, though, so please RSVP to let us know you’re coming.

A Day to Play is a wonderful opportunity for kids, siblings, caregivers, parents and community friends to spend quality time together and make memories in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Each event has a different theme, but all are focused on fun and engaging activities for the whole family, with numerous stations where medically special children and their siblings can play, interact and learn.

Food and refreshments are provided, along with a designated quiet area with Hoyer lift for changing and privacy.

Day to Play events are held periodically at locations throughout Central Florida. Stay tuned to this page, to the Events page of the main Focus Forward Skilled Care site, or to FFSC’s Facebook page to hear about upcoming events.

Day to Play events are always free and open to all medically special kids and kids-at-heart — not just FFSC families. Space is limited, though, so RSVPs are required.
